Warranty Requirements

To maintain warranty coverage, the device must be:

  • Installed according to EZY GPS installation guidelines
  • Used for its intended purpose
  • Operated within the device specifications

Hardwired devices must be installed using proper automotive wiring standards.

Where immobilisation features are installed, the installation should be completed by a qualified installer or auto electrician.

Installation Compliance

Incorrect installation can cause device failure or vehicle issues. Examples of compliant practices:

  • Proper wiring connections
  • Installation of required fuses
  • Secure mounting of the device
  • Avoiding interference with vehicle safety systems

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
  • Incorrect installation

SIM and Network Services

EZY GPS trackers use mobile network connectivity to transmit location data.

Network service interruptions caused by mobile carriers are outside the control of EZY GPS and are not covered under device warranty.

Temporary signal loss may occur in areas such as underground parking areas, remote rural locations, or enclosed metal structures.

Once the device returns to an area with signal coverage, it will reconnect automatically.

Requesting Support

Before contacting support, check the troubleshooting guide. This guide resolves many common issues quickly.

When contacting support, please provide:

  • Device serial number or IMEI
  • Vehicle type
  • Installation type (OBD or hardwired)
  • Description of the issue

Returns and Device Replacement

If a device is confirmed to be faulty under warranty, EZY GPS may arrange for repair or replacement of the device.
