How do I install an OBD GPS tracker?
Follow the supplied OBD installation guide. Check vehicle and port compatibility, fit the tracker securely without obstructing driving controls, and use the account details supplied by our team.
Where is the OBD port located?
Most vehicles have the OBD port located underneath the dashboard near the steering wheel. Some vehicles place the port near the fuse box or behind a small dashboard panel.
Can a GPS tracker be hidden in a vehicle?
Yes.
Hardwired GPS trackers are installed behind the dashboard and are normally hidden from view once installed.
Will the GPS tracker drain my car battery?
A vehicle-powered tracker uses battery power. The effect depends on the device, installation, vehicle battery condition and how long the vehicle remains parked. Ask our team about long-term parking or low-battery concerns.
What happens if the tracker is unplugged?
The tracker loses its normal vehicle power supply. Any backup operation depends on the device and its charge. The platform can show the last reported location; do not rely on a fixed period of backup tracking.
Do hardwired trackers require professional installation?
Hardwired trackers connect to the vehicle electrical system. Arrange and pay for installation separately with an independent installer. We can recommend an installer.
