Find Your OBD-II Port

Locate the diagnostic port in your car, SUV, ute, van or light truck before connecting your EZY GPS plug-in tracker.

Start beneath the driver-side dashboard

Look for a small 16-pin trapezoid-shaped socket, usually black, white or purple. It may face downward or sit behind a removable trim cover.

1

Car, SUV or ute

Check beneath the steering wheel, beside the bonnet release or fuse panel, and behind any small lower-dash cover.

2

Van

Check under the steering column, around the lower dashboard and near the driver's kick panel or cabin fuse box.

3

Light truck

Check the lower driver's dashboard and fuse area. Some commercial vehicles may require an adaptor or professional installation.

Never force the connector

Park safely, apply the handbrake and switch off the ignition. The connector only fits one way. Stop if the tracker could obstruct pedals, knees or trim.
